Treatment
We will apply Termidor to the soil by trenching, rodding, and drilling around the exterior of your home to form a type of “continuous band” on the exterior. In most cases, there is no change to the landscape of your home. If you have interior termite activity, we will need to treat the specific area where the activity is, but with Termidor it is no longer necessary to drill and treat every plumbing area in the home. If you have a pier-and-beam foundation, we will also treat around each pier and the beam wall. The amount of time it takes to treat your home is approximate, but it usually takes anywhere from 3 to 9 hours depending on the size and type of home you have. Rainfall will not affect Termidor as long as it is not raining when applied. Once Termidor is applied there is no need to re-apply it at a later time unless activity is observed or the soil has been removed.
