While you are decorating and getting everything ready for the holidays, you don’t think about pests that may be lurking in or on the things you bring into your home. Here are two very important tips to prevent letting unwanted pests into your home:
- Before bringing in a live Christmas tree, inspect it outside your house and remove any pests.
- Before you build that roaring fire, brush/shake off firewood you bring inside and make sure to store your wood pile/stack at least 15-20 feet from the house.
Don’t forget while packing up all the decorations to store them in air tight containers, so no pests can enter while they are stored away until next year.
